Accreditation

     In May 2001, the Program was awarded full accreditation by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia educational programs(222 S. Prospect Ave, Park Ridge, IL 60068 {847-692-7050}). The Program was reaccredited in 2004 and will under go its next reaccreditation review in 2010. This accreditation permits graduates to take the National Certification Examination to obtain the CRNA credential. Florida International University is a member of the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges, the U.S. Department of Education recognized regional accrediting agency (SACS contact information) and is accredited to offer degrees through the doctoral level. FIU School of Nursing, including the MSN Program, is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE contact information).
