For Non-Degree Seeking Status Students

Although it is not recommended, students who are in the process of applying for the MSN or Post-master’s certificate programs may choose to enroll in selected MSN core courses, however such enrollment must be approved in advance by the MSN NP Program Director and must meet specific requirements. There is no guarantee that credits taken as a non-degree seeking student will be applied toward graduation requirements, if or when the student changes from non-degree seeking to fully admitted status. In addition, completion of graduate nursing coursework in advance of admission does not enhance or improve a student’s chance of admission to the program.
