FIU Athletic Training students and faculty, in collaboration with FIU Student Affairs, provide athletic training services to FIU intramural and club sports participants on the field and follow-up with sports rehabilitation as needed.

FIU Athletic Training Student Organization (ATSO)

The FIU Athletic Training Student Organization strives to raise overall consciousness about the importance of athletic training and sports medicine in organized sports, the community and within the healthcare industry. ATSO members raise such public awareness by participating in university-wide activities, community service projects, fundraising, and social events. Iota Tau Alpha – Alpha Kappa Chapter

The Iota Tau Alpha Athletic Training Education Honor Society is an honor and professional society for students of athletic training. Iota Tau Alpha activities are designed to stimulate interest, scholarly attainment, and investigation of athletic training education and practice, as well as, to promote the dissemination of information and new interpretations of the Society’s activities among students of athletic training.
