Nursing & Health Sciences Building
A Foundation of Health & Wellness for 21st Century Teaching & Research
In 2010, the College of Nursing & Health Sciences moved into its new home at AHC3 on Modesto Maidique Campus. The $34 million, state-of-the-art Nursing & Health Sciences (NHS) Building supports the education of the next generation of highly skilled, culturally competent healthcare professionals who will serve our communities.
Designed by the world-renowned architectural firm of HOK, the NHS Building is one of the most innovative, technologically advanced healthcare teaching facilities in the region. The unique, two-wing structure encompasses 115,000-square-feet of space and houses interactive skills laboratories; extensive computer suites; specialized training, evaluation and study areas; ample lecture classrooms; and a dedicated research floor.
The NHS Building serves all departments of the College and equips students in nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, athletic training and health services administration programs with the skills needed to function and become leaders in today's complex healthcare environment.
