How to Apply

Students are admitted year-round for the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. The yearly application deadlines for the Graduate Certificate program are:

• May 1 for Fall semester
• October 1 for Spring semester
• February 1 for Summer semester

TWO (2) APPLICATIONS ARE REQUIRED to apply to the FIU Graduate Certificate in Communication Sciences & Disorders (CSD) track:

Step 1: Apply to FIU Graduate School

1. Complete the FIU Graduate School Application online.
2. Send Official Transcripts denoting all courses taken & TOEFL scores to:
        FIU Graduate Admissions Office
        PO Box 659004
        Miami, FL 33265

Step 2: Apply to the CSD Department

The FIU Communication Sciences & Disorders (CSD) department has a separate application form which must be printed out and completed and then returned department.

1. Download and complete the CSD Application Form.
2. Send your CSD application form directly to FIU Communication Sciences & Disorders at:
   • Email: CSD@fiu.edu (Attach the CSD Application Form and copies of your unofficial transcripts to this email.) 
3. Applications missing the department application form will not be reviewed.
