Student Services

The Office of Student Services provides services and programs to support your academic experience at FIU from your first semester through graduation. We are your one-stop resource for information regarding courses, extra-curricular activities, university services, and academic policies.

Current Students

As a current FIU student, you should see your advisor at least once a semester. They are your best source of information when making academic decisions. Advisors are especially busy when the class enrollment period begins, so make an appointment early in the semester.

To make an appointment with your academic advisor, log in to the Panther Success Network (PSN) through MyFIU or on the Navigate App.

Drop-in Advising Available During Peak Enrollment Season

During the peak enrollment season for the Summer/Fall 2025 terms, an Advisor of the Day will be available between April 1st–April 25th to hold 10-minute online drop-in advising sessions to address the following:

  • Enrollment questions
  • Permit assistance for undergraduate courses within the College of Nursing and Health Sciences
  • Declaring a BHSA major (for students with fewer than 60 credits earned)
  • Questions regarding policies and procedures

Please note: Questions regarding advising-related holds can only be addressed during a scheduled advising appointment.

Advisor of the Day Schedule

Drop-in advising will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. While we will strive to accommodate all students during drop-in hours, we cannot guarantee that everyone will be seen. For guaranteed availability, we recommend scheduling an appointment with your advisor through PSN.
