FIU’s Bachelor of Health Services Administration (BHSA) program offers an optional 3-credit Administrative Internship Course every semester for interested students.

The HSA-4850 internship provides you with essential hands-on experience to apply the concepts and theories learned in the classroom to develop your management skills in a real workplace setting.

In addition to course credits, the internship is a resume-builder. You’ll get access to the practical work experience and networking opportunities that can lead to your first job in the industry.

Students must complete a total of 210 hours at the placement organization.  For eligibility requirements, clinical clearance information and application instructions, download:

Students are free to contact the Coordinator for Clinical Education who oversees the BHSA internship program. You may also contact Cristina Rodriguez who is the Academic Support Services Coordinator.
