Derrick Glymph

Dr. Glymph serves as the Director of Global Initiatives for the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Florida International University. Most recently he served as the Chair of the Department of Nurse Anesthetist Practice. Dr. Glymph’s clinical practice and scholarly work have focused on opioid use disorder which involves recovery, treatment and intervention. He also possesses an active interest in understanding the impact of THC in the bloodstream regarding its effects on anesthesia during general surgery and recovery post-surgery.
