Science prerequisites must have been taken within the last 10 years.
We do not accept courses taken through Portage Learning to satisfy the required prerequisites. Courses taken directly with Geneva College as a degree-seeking student are accepted.
Required Prerequisites for foreign educated physician seeking a BSN degree
- HUN 2201 (Principles of Nutrition)
- DEP 2000 (Human Growth & Development)*
- Any Intro to Statistics course
These course numbers refer to FIU courses, but an equivalent course can be transferred from any regionally accredited college/university to satisfy the requirements. ALL prerequisites must be completed by the end of the Summer semester to be eligible for admission for the Fall term. A minimum grade of "C" is required in these courses.
*A passing CLEP exam score can be taken to satisfy the human growth & development prerequisite.
