Admissions

Each FIU Undergraduate Nursing program has its own admission requirements and application process. Please review the requirements for your specific BSN program of interest.

The Accelerated Option Bachelor of Science in Nursing (AO BSN) is a limited-access program with a competitive admissions process based on comprehensive evaluations.

Applications are processed and reviewed on a continual basis to admit students for the Fall semester. Admission personnel start processing applications as soon as they are received, and they release decisions as they are made by the admission committee. Please note this process takes time. While applications are processed on a rolling basis, we cannot guarantee an immediate admission decision; however, we guarantee that all applicants will receive an admission decision and that all applicants who apply by the specified deadline will be considered for a spot in our program.
