How to Apply

Step 1: OTCAS Application

1. Create your account on the OTCAS portal and fill out the application as instructed.
2. Send all official transcripts directly to OTCAS:

   Occupational Therapy Centralized Application Service (OTCAS)

   Watertown, MA 02471

   Please note:
   • We no longer require the GRE for admission into our program. You do not need to submit GRE scores to OTCAS.
   • OTCAS does not accept paper references. Letters of recommendation are submitted electronically through the OTCAS system.

    

3. OTCAS must receive by the deadline date all official transcripts, references and the application.
4. Once your application is complete, OTCAS will verify your documents before releasing them to Florida International University. IMPORTANT: FIU cannot access unverified applications. Applicants should confirm their status as verified with OTCAS. Applicants are responsible for keeping track of their verification status with OTCAS and should check in regularly as needed.

Step 2: FIU Graduate School Application

1. Applicants are required to submit a Graduate School application. This application is required in addition to the OTCAS application. The cost of the application is $30. Students are encouraged to complete this application after submission of their OTCAS application.
