2 Students must apply to the MSN program at this point; Applicants must have a 3.2 GPA to be provisionally admitted to the MSN program. See University catalog/nursing advisor for pre-and co-requisite courses.

3 NGR courses (5XXX and 6XXX level) are graduate level courses that are charged at the Graduate Nursing tuition rate. See Graduate Nursing brochure.

Note: Progression in advanced practice nursing tracks requires supervised and precepted experience in specialized clinical settings. Students admitted to advance practice nursing tracks are advised that traveling to clinical sites for these experiences are required (student’s responsibility/expense) and the traveling distance to these sites is dependent upon availability of approved clinical sites. Inability to complete clinical hours will result in your progress in the curriculum to be delayed.

A student’s ability to progress in the curriculum is dependent upon the student’s ability to follow this schedule. Please be aware that some courses are only taught once each year and many have pre-requisites. Therefore, if you are unable to enroll or complete a course as projected, please contact your track leader/ graduate department advisor to schedule a conference for revision of progression schedule/plan of study.
