Agueda "Aggie" Aurelia Lara-Smalling

The instructors at the College of Nursing were very diverse, and they were very experienced, knowledgeable, and willing to help students. The nursing professors were very dedicated, and they wanted me to do my very best. They brought a wealth of experience and knowledge and were willing to help students meet their potential in learning about nursing. Some of my professors had military backgrounds, and some of them had backgrounds in non-American-based education. They helped me prepare for the real world because we had to know how to interact with and appreciate people's diverse backgrounds in the healthcare field. I am so thankful and appreciative that I was able to get a quality nursing education.
