Alexsandra E. Morales

The hardships I've experienced inspired me to go into college on my 40th birthday. I went to FIU Nursing seeking an opportunity to do something for my own sake. The Dean of the School of Nursing gave me the opportunity to come back to college at 40 years old, and 12 years later I now realize how pivotal that decision was for my future. I acquired my master's degree from another institution afterward. I've worked hard and became a specialized ICU nurse, and I'm still working with the goal to move on to a leadership position. I was blessed to have the opportunity to study at FIU Nursing.
