The quality of nursing information that FIU Nursing offers to students inspired me to attend. I've been a nurse for 33 years. My most memorable experience was participating in my research project, which was about heart failure. I had the opportunity of working with patients, doing research internationally on heart failure, and developing evidence-based practices in that particular area. I developed this research project because there was an increase in the readmission of heart failure patients. Dr. Brown was the one who was my chair. It prepared me immensely because I was able to implement that research project in my work setting. I'm grateful for the education that FIU Nursing gave me. They enhanced my nursing knowledge. I would encourage every nurse to attend FIU Nursing. It prepares you immensely for your career, and the college is of excellent quality. When you leave FIU Nursing, you can function anywhere as a nurse.
