Briana Nicole Padron

Nursing was something that I always wanted to do, specifically to work with the pediatric population. FIU nursing was always the goal and I was so excited to be admitted alongside some of my closest friends. I worked at the Student Teaching and Research Center where we did our simulations and hands on skills practice - it's like a miniature hospital. I got to see firsthand how the professors interacted with students, and I learned so much. Thanks to professors like Mark Fonseca, Dr. Azutillo, and Dr. Gonzalez I became a well rounded, competent nurse. I am a proud FIU alumni and thoroughly enjoyed my time at FIU!
