Carla Maria Leblanc (Trueba)

I went to FIU Nursing because I wanted to leave home and be independent. I was accepted into FIU Nursing, and it had affordable tuition costs. Toward the end of my elementary schooling, I knew that I wanted to work in healthcare. I enjoyed working with children, so I chose to specialize in pediatrics. I learned that I had to embrace the entire family when working with a child. I have dedicated my career to children.
