I was from Cuba. I knew there was a foreign physician program at the Florida International University College of Nursing, and I was very excited to know that I could get into that program. The whole program was amazing, and all of my professors were great. Everybody was really nice there, and I had an amazing time with my colleagues and classmates. FIU gave me all of the tools I needed to become the nurse practitioner I am today. It was amazing.
