Catherine May McBean Reid

My daughter graduated from FIU, and she encouraged me to attend. I always enjoyed working with people, and I thought that becoming a nurse would give me satisfaction. My professors were excellent, and they were instrumental in helping me along when I struggled. I went to many hospitals during my clinicals, and I didn't struggle at all thanks to my previous clinical background. I grew a lot thanks to my time at FIU's College of Nursing, and I'm very grateful for the time that I spent there. FIU's College of Nursing shaped my career and put me on the professional path.
