Claudia Char

I did dual enrollment in high school, so I took courses at Florida International University while I was in high school. Florida International University is very connected with the community. A lot of local residents go there. I've been there for over ten years. I achieved my bachelor's, and I'm getting my CNP now. My advisor encouraged me to pursue the path of nurse practitioner, and I didn't even know that was an option. Dr. Ivette Hidalgo was the undergraduate professor who impacted me the most. Dr. Rosa Roche is the graduate professor who has impacted me. They both understand that their students have to take care of themselves and their families. They have both been amazing mentors in my life. They're both in pediatrics, which is what I'm doing. They're both from the same country as me. I identify a lot with both of them.
