Dr. Deborah Leigh Krauser (Sacks)

When I chose FIU Nursing, I knew the reputation of the nurse practitioner program was excellent. Although the program was challenging, I had a very positive experience. I was fortunate to have a professor who was very supportive and helped me with my final project. This experience helped me to think forward and inspired me to continue to grow professionally, which led me to get my doctorate degree. My greatest takeaway from my time at FIU Nursing was to always provide excellent care and to remember that the patient always comes first.
