I went to FIU with a friend to earn my nurse practitioner certification. Becoming a nurse practitioner was my way to do more clinical service and not just research. Then I went to George Washington University and got a master of science in integrative medicine, and I practiced integrative medicine for part of my clinical career. The faculty was very outstanding and hands on. Dr. Sharon Pontius was my favorite faculty member.
