I was always interested in healthcare, and I figured that I could be more hands-on with patients in nursing. I heard that FIU Nursing was very competitive, so I figured that it must have been a really good program. The people at the STAR Center, who ran the simulations, were really professional, and the simulations were run really well. I had always been more of a loner, and once I enrolled in FIU Nursing, I started meeting new people. I got to open up and make new connections. I became more social at FIU Nursing, which helps a lot at my job.
