Guiselle Ponce

FIU was a good school, and it offered a doctor of nursing practice degree. Dr. Sherman was very helpful and receptive when I needed help. She helped me with my research and writing. I would ask her questions about how to do assignments, and she would specifically tell me how I could set up the assignments to be able to accomplish them. The most important thing was solidifying my assessment skills with my patients. I got into a higher position, and I became more autonomous as a practitioner.
