I went to FIU Nursing after I left the Army, where I became a licensed practical nurse. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and I knew about FIU Nursing. I enrolled in the online program, which was good for me because I was working as a nurse at the time. The staff members were there anytime I needed help with anything. Everybody was friendly. If a faculty member didn't have the answer to something, they would come back to me with an answer. It was a good experience overall. I had high grades as an undergraduate at FIU Nursing. I liked the resources at the library. I studied there often because it was a comfortable place. I was able to open up my mind and concentrate more.
