My grandmother was also a nurse. I had a good experience at Florida International University; it was fun. I had a core study group that I enjoyed. I appreciated the people I met and the different experiences I had going through rotations with my friends. Florida International University was a great school, and it prepared me well. I went to Mount Sinai Hospital and participated in their Operating Room Preceptor Program. Without FIU, I wouldn't be where I am today, and I'm very happy about where I've ended up.
