FIU Nursing had an accelerated option for a nurse practitioner program. The structure of the university and the quality of the professors were valuable. FIU Nursing faculty members had a lot of experience in their fields of expertise. More doors opened up for me in the healthcare system. It prepared me to succeed in the business. Currently, I'm working as a home-based provider in Wyoming. I'm a completely autonomous provider here. The preparation I received from FIU was beneficial. I'm grateful for the multiple places I was able to do my clinical rotations. FIU Nursing had open-door policies for us to find our own clinical rotations.
