I chose Florida International University because it was the only school that offered an accelerated program for foreign-educated physicians. Professor Griffin and Professor Olenick were my favorite faculty members. Having fun in the classes made my time at FIU memorable. I also really enjoyed it when we had our medical practice in the hospitals. After graduation, I worked in the neurology department of a hospital in Boca Raton, and then I did primary care for a time. In April 2019, I was hired by Humana as a part-time state traveler, and I'm still working in that capacity. I love the job because I love traveling to different cities and working with people, and I'm still in touch with a couple of people from FIU.
