I already had a healthcare background. In high school, I enrolled in Health Occupations Students of America. I met the requirements for graduation and worked in laboratory services for six years before becoming a nurse. I was taught the basic methods for taking care of patients. I went to FIU Nursing to continue my education virtually. I had a professor who helped me succeed. There were a couple of professors who stood out to me. When I was having family issues, I had a professor who really worked with me. Writing all of the papers was difficult for me at that time, but my professor was understanding. If I didn't have her support, I wouldn't have finished my bachelor of science in nursing when I did. She left a mark on my journey toward getting my degree. I was grateful to earn my bachelor of science in nursing from FIU Nursing.
