I was interested because it was an accelerated program and catered to foreign-educated physicians. My mother has been a nurse as well. I was excited and a little hesitant, but I was glad to be going to school. The people at FIU Nursing cared about the students, and they had one-on-one meetings often, so they made sure that we were on track with everything. I met a lot of other different nationalities and people from different countries, so that was a good experience. I went back to school after being out for a long time, and I didn't think that I would get through it, but because of my teachers and my classmates, we helped one another to get through all of our stuff. I think that was the best part of my experience.
