I liked that FIU was local. I was in an online program, and the responsiveness of the professors was professional and timely. I had an eye-opening experience when I was a professor's assistant. I was able to see how the teachers worked online, and I gained an appreciation for it. I didn't catch on as quickly as I thought I would for a certain class, and my professor took her time to offer me a different perspective. I was able to pass that class. FIU has good-quality teachers, and the students are able to work with the community.
