Marie Jeannette Charles

FIU Nursing was the only one that really attracted me. They had more diversity there. When I submitted all of my credentials, they told me right there that they would take me. I went to a nursing school in Canada and studied for a bachelor in science. They welcomed me. It was a great journey. I had very good instructors who treated me well. My experience was great. To pass the board, we had to train with nurse practitioners and some physicians. I was blessed because I trained with nurse practitioners and physicians together. I will probably go there to do my doctorate in nursing.
