FIU Nursing prepared me for the outside world of nursing, so it was an amazing program. I've always felt compassionate toward others, and I liked helping people. Nursing was a job of the heart, and that was why I chose nursing. I work in pediatrics now. I had a great time at FIU Nursing. I had a great cohort with my fellow classmates. We supported each other through the rough times, and we're still friends. We're the godmothers and godfathers to each other's kids. The Nursing Program at FIU Nursing was very hard. It was very demanding, and we had to study for hours every day. The help that we got from the professors and the support from the team made an impact on me.
