I came from Cuba as a doctor, so I wanted to do something related to that. I was excited about the program at FIU when I Found out about it. I did my research and entered the program. All of my professors were great. It was a good experience and a really great program that I'd recommend to everybody who wants to go there. I apply everything that I got from that program to my job every day. There were students from everywhere - a lot of places and a lot of countries. It was a very good campus, and everybody was helping us with everything we needed. The experience was great. I graduated from the program and got a good job. I came as an adult with kids from my country, and I was able to obtain a job with a very good salary. Finishing the program impacted my life, and it has been so much better since then. I work for an insurance company, and I review all of the admitted cases. I work with Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami. Both of them are great hospitals with very complex cases, and I review all of them. I'm using my nursing knowledge every day for work. I'm most grateful for being able to get into a good university in this country. I was not born in this country, so FIU gave me the opportunity to enter a very good program, and that changed my life. I came as an adult, so it was a great opportunity.
