Nicolas Ariza

I always knew that I wanted to go into nursing or anesthesia because I loved helping and caring for others, so going to nursing school was the first step in pursuing those. I loved my professors, my classmates, and the location of the school. I got a broad idea of what different cultures were like since FIU is such a diverse college. I loved working in the hospital with residents from the surrounding neighborhood. I'm grateful to be one of the few to be selected for the Veterans Nursing Program to teach. I would tell prospective students of FIU to never stop growing, learning, or changing.
