I believe Florida International University serves the community, and it's a highly valued institution. It is growing tremendously as a research-based university, and I believe it has made Miami even more of a world destination on the map. I've seen the growth that FIU has experienced over the years, and I believe it serves our community. I'm proud to be a two-time alumnus of the school. FIU has enhanced my career, and it has given me the ability to market myself efficiently. It's a reputable institution, so it's made it easier to obtain employment and enjoy life. I'm proud to have attended FIU, and I believe it made me a more mature, educated person. I'm an avid reader and an avid traveler, and I learned to be more curious through FIU. The university gave me the opportunity to move forward in life, improve my living standards and serve my community. It's a top school, and the curriculum is extremely challenging at the bachelor's and master's degree levels. I was older when I was working on my master's degree, so dealing with younger crowds was a challenge. My professors were excellent, and I meshed well with several of them. I brought a different level of experience from younger students, and I was able to take advantage of their experience.
