I already had an associate's degree in nursing when I started attending FIU Nursing. It seemed like a good match for me to get my bachelor's degree - I could work and still go to school. The teachers were very invested in me as a student because of the small sizes of the classes. We had every opportunity to do and get what we needed. The classes were very informative and easy to get through. We learned a lot of useful things through the classes such as how to read an electrocardiogram or draw blood, so we were more experienced and had better credentials when we graduated. I was prepared to do what I needed to as a nurse - the doors were open for me.
