As a first-generation Cuban-American registered nurse, I will always be grateful to FIU's Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing & Health Sciences for the opportunities it provided me to achieve my goals. Currently, I am able to have an impact in my community as a registered nurse in a pediatric operating room. I could not have done it without the help of all the dedicated faculty, staff, and amazing classmates I had during my studying years at FIU. I will always be proud to be an FIU alumnus. Let's go Panthers!
