FIU was convenient for me as a full-time employee looking to move up, get a higher degree, and gain experience in the nursing field. It was a calling for me to become a nurse. I have always been willing to help others, and I have the ability to communicate effectively. The program at FIU was online. Getting registered and speaking with my advisor was a positive experience. The instructors were patient and took the time to assist me. I appreciated the resources FIU had as well. I grew tremendously. I'm grateful for the opportunity to attend the school and for the wonderful individuals who helped guide me through the process. As a travel nurse, I love being able to go to other locations and experience various cultures.
