I went to FIU because it was affordable, close to home, and friendly. I had a very memorable experience at FIU. My pharmacology teacher instilled in me the importance of knowing medications and drilling that information into our minds. She was able to make the subject fun even though it was a very important topic. I was able to develop a group of friends in the College of Nursing with whom I still hang out and keep in contact. Graduating with my friends felt like I was overcoming a challenge with them. I definitely chose the right career and the right school. Working in hospitals with patients, especially in the time of the pandemic, is very important to me. I've always wanted to do that since I was a little girl, and FIU helped me get there.
