My dream of being a nurse started when I was a little boy but got magnified when my father passed away in my arms. I had been in the military, but his passing helped me transition back to the path I knew I should have taken. The experience I had at FIU Nursing was wonderful and informative. The camaraderie that developed among students and professors was great. I had such a high regard for the faculty and experience.
