I liked the fact that it had a focus on the international community because I lived in South Florida, where we're surrounded by so many great cultures, customs, and languages. I enjoyed being surrounded by different cultures and learning about everybody's uniqueness. FIU Nursing did a great job of preparing me to go on to be a competent and effective nurse leader. The health assessment class helped further my assessment abilities and taught me creativity and ingenuity in taking care of patients in rural areas.
