I did two years at Northeastern University, and during the summer after my second year there, I got an opportunity to work in the Nursing School's office as a summer job. The admissions director compared prices. I chose to move to FIU Nursing because it was cost efficient. One of my most memorable experiences was serving as FIU Nursing's representative on the Student Government Association. I was able to engage the nursing students and professors, and it was memorable. I got them involved with different activities on campus, and I brought the concerns that the nursing students had to the Student Government, so we were able to resolve a lot of things at that time. Nursing was a profound career, and I've evolved so much in my career.
